MEN IN UNIFORM

These two Military men share my study with the Phantom pilot and I.
The guy on the left is a 3-star Chilean Army General, a compatriot of the infamous General Pinochet. The chap on the right is a highly decorated United States Air Force Lieutentant-Colonel from the Vietnam era. His ribbon bars and brevet wing is visible in the 2nd pic.
The Union Jack keeps these two "volatile" boys apart. Watch this blog for postings i.r.o. "How to succesfully maintain world peace (1860-1960) by The British Military Forces."

Cape Town mountain fires

Received these pics from my brother Arnold showing the southwest face of Devil's Peak ablaze. This was the view from the Wembley Square vicinity on 17/3/2009.
